D&D Adventure System – Raiding Dargaard Keep

Join me as I play with patron Derek in the adventure Raiding Dargaard Keep with the D&D Adventure Cooperative Game. This is the first in a series of Dragonlance themed adventures we will be playing. D&D Adventure Cooperative Games are a series of Board Games initially released in August 2010. Castle Ravenloft was inspired by the original Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game adventure by Tracy and Laura Hickman. You can buy the board game here: https://amzn.to/3pMS9JM

Lord Soth Series (Castle Ravenloft Board Game)

  • Raiding Dargaard Keep (Castle Ravenloft Adventure 4 – altered)
    • Start of the Adventure Copy
      • Believing we have discovered a secret entrance to Dargaard Keep, we are searching for an ancient amulet, rumored to be key to the downfall of Lord Soth. You discover the entrance as described after hours of searching and decide to enter during the dwindling daylight, hoping that Soth and his minions are not as active in the light of Paladine. As you enter the secret tunnel, you note the light of Solinari and Lunitary signalling night is not far off!
    • When the Sun sets…
      • The aura of the keep has changed and you believe you hear the evening call of Banshees delivering their nightly dirge to the lord of the keep. It won’t be long before the rest of his minions are aware of your presence.
    • Upon completion
      • As you exit the keep, you rize from the lair surrounded by an impenetrable fog, and a sense of dread embraces you. You don’t know which direction you are facing and you fight to stifle the panic, rising in your mind. You begin running in the same direction, knowing there must be an end to the fog and as it clears you realise you were turned around. You are staring at the keep, only it is a twisted version of the one you entered hours ago… you know now that you are no longer in Krynn. (should we say that the red moon Lunitary is missing from the sky)
