Game Setup
Last time on Shadow of the Dragon Queen: Calling back to Darrett’s camp on the Fargab to let them know the portal is closed, a frantic Tatina Rookledust presses the heroes to return to camp as many of the alliance commanders were corrupted by the evil magic of the Dragonarmies. They had turned against their troops. The Dragonarmy also had opened portals where they were drawing more troops into battle with the remaining alliance soldiers. The heroes returned as fast as they could to a battle in progress and after destroying every Dragonarmy portal and rescuing every alliance commander, saved the day. The Dragonarmy was forced to retreat and the heroes returned to Wakenreth to meet Dalamar. He asked to inspect the portal and after discovering what the Blue Phoenix Shrine was, he is certain he can discern the location to the City of Lost Named if the heroes investigate Sunward Fortress as well. With the promise of direction, the heroes discover it is seemingly an abandoned archeology site by the Dragonarmy. They approach the lowest level which has been excavated and this is where we pick up today’s episode.
