Game Setup
Last time on Shadow of the Dragon Queen: The heroes approached the Blue Phoenix Shrine, meeting some fearful Dimernesti elves outside. Their priestess was taken by the Dragonarmy, and they needed help entering and completing their pilgrimage. The heroes entered and with minimal interruption discovered the hidden path to the offering chamber. Upon leaving, a Dimernesti scout arrived telling them their leader may have been taken to a Dragonarmy camp in the north. They paid the heroes to go rescue their allies. Next the heroes arrived at Wakenreth, a nearly totally destroyed tower that was trapped between the prime material and Shadowfell planes. They entered a portal at the top and were given instructions on how to close the portal. In the Shadowfell, they battled an Anhkolox which nearly killed three of them. We are picking up our story immediately following the portal’s closing.
