About Dragonlance: Plagued Awakening
Deep in the Sahket Jungle of Nordmaar, a plague has struck the people of the Teocali. Great warriors have been sent to uncover the truth of its origin and stop its spread, but months have gone by and the adults and elderly have begun dying. Now the youth of the tribe must stand up and fight for their people. This will be their moment of awakening, or the tribes complete annihilation.

Game Setup
It is 431 AC, twelve years since Takhisis the Queen of Darkness was killed and the gods returned in this Age of Mortals. In the northern Sahket Jungle of Normaar, fifteen miles east of the Yehudia Valley, the Teeocali tribe has been living in isolation for time immemorial. As the world suffered through two cataclysms, these barbaric humans have lived, warring with regional tribes in their deadly ‘might makes right’ culture. The Teeocali have settled in an ancient ruin that is older than the first man. The wise star speakers say this holy site was first created in the Age of Starbirth by The World Tree. The Bakali are believed to be its first inhabitants. They created mighty Ziggurats and turned to worshiping the newly arrived Dragons, until the First Dragon War. The jungle has since swallowed their secrets.
Recently the men and women have become afflicted by a wasting sickness of unknown origin. The star speakers are unable to cure it with their magics from The Beast, or their more recently discovered mystical rites. The regional tribes have abandoned the Teeocali to their fates. The once friendly Kagonesti and Niedar tribes have forsaken them. In desperation, Attatoz, the elderly Teeocali king, has sent every man and woman over the past decade to discover the source of this sickness, but none have returned. Now with no other options, a tribal calling has been formed.
You all enter the sacred temple site where your tribe would have once filled its grounds, but now stands nearly empty as only the young and elderly remain. The gravity of the tribe’s future has finally hit you as you realize that you are its most veteran members, and you are not yet considered adults. As you approach Attatoz’ throne, his eyes sweep across the temple grounds, with palpable sorrow and exhaustion read within them. Attatos was once a mighty warrior, and though his physical body still shows signs of that strength, his frame is aged and weary. Years and the wasting sickness has consumed him, and very little time remains for him before he joins the World Tree. Behind him stands the Star Speaker, Myuhhue. This ancient woman’s frame is twisted and broken physically but her connection to the surrounding jungle and The Beast creates a palpable aura which surrounds her.
