Game Setup

Last time on Tyranny of Dragons: The heroes enlisted Boros and Henry to recover their equipment from camp, then waited the night before heading back to Firstward. Along the way they encountered the Kobolds from the stragglers of the cultist’s militia. They gave them rations and left them alone. Upon returning to Firstward, Leosin Erlanthar reunited with Nesim Waladra, and Governor Tarbaw Nighthill and Castellan Escobert the Red welcomed the heroes. They shared the information they had learned, and reconnected with the town. The next morning Leosin asked the heroes to return to the cultist’s camp and discover if they are preparing another raid, or if anything substantial is carried into or out of the cave. Then to return the information to him in Solanthus. Leothin is travelling to Solanthus at the northern tip of the Garnet mountains, to report to the Knight of Solamnia Ontharr Frume, who shares his concern over the Cult of the Dragon’s recent surge in activity. The heroes return to an entirely different camp. There seems to have been a massive exodus to the west, and the only people left are hunters in various stages of preparation. The heroes begin to try and talk with them, and quickly abandon it to investigate the large cave in the east end. They are seen approaching by Dragonclaws’ who ambush the heroes. In the absence of stealth the heroes alert the cavern’s occupants to their presence and trigger a slide trap during the encounter. We pick up with the combat continuing and the party divided…
