Game Setup
Last time on Tyranny of Dragons: Seto and Lucan stood up against the gargoyles as the others went down the crane below into the mist. Seto began to destroy them one at a time, and Lucan fell. Others came back up and finished the threat off. They began crawling through the dungeon looking for an exit and ran across bullywugs who ran them off, then decided to stay and fight giant frogs in a large underground pond. The cultists from above finally broke through the door, escorting Azbara Jos out, then came back to find the heroes and attacked them from two sides. The heroes lost K’thriss but ultimately prevailed and continued to explore. They discovered a well in the mist, then saw a ritual room of worship the bullywugs were using. Jamna Gleamsilver came down and told them they were being searched for, stepped into the well and whispered something, then disappeared. The heroes couldn’t quite hear what she said, and returned to the pond to find a way out. They swam to the western side which revealed more aggressive Bullywog’s. They were attacked yet again, but defeated them and are just now, deciding what to do next. The Bakali revolted above in the Citadel of Karoc-Tor. Many of the cultists have escaped or been defeated. The heroes know the treasure was delivered here, but where did it go from here? What is the secret of the well? Where is the leadership disappearing to? How does Azbera know Seto? Why did Seto not take the test and will Vesh return? Will K’hriss ever wake up, and what will they do if Jkeauu returns? There seem to be secrets that the heroes have not addressed with each other or contemplated in their search for an exit. But where will they go if they do get out? This is a dark time for the heroes, but it is when things are at their darkest, that the light shines brightest.
