Join in the Celebration! https://dlsaga.com/40th-anniversary
Dragonlance is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year. The first Dragonlance products were released in March 1984 with the Dragon Magazine #83 short story The Test of the Twins by Margaret Weis and the AD&D adventure DL1 Dragons of Despair by Tracy Hickman.
Now, forty years later I would like to invite you to share your thoughts and experiences with Dragonlance through video, writings or art. Please reach out to DLSaga at info@dlsaga for more details.
The release of this project will coincide with the November 1984 release of Dragons of Autumn Twilight, so you have a few months to put your contribution together. I hope to see your contribution featured. Email submissions to info@dlsaga.com.

Intro
Welcome to another DragonLance Creators episode. My name is Adam, and today I want to officially make a call for submissions. You see, Dragonlance is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this year. And while March 1984 saw the first releases in the Dragonlance campaign setting in the form of the Dragon Magazine #83 short story The Test of the Twins by Margaret Weis, and the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure DL1 Dragons of Despair by Tracy Hickman, I believe the novel’s release was most people’s first experience with the Heroes of the Lance and the campaign setting of Dragonlance.
I would like to take a moment and thank the DLSaga members, and invite you to consider becoming a member by visiting the link in the description below. There are member only monthly downloads and weekly readings available only to DLSaga Members! You can also pick up Dragonlance gaming materials using my affiliate link.
Dragons of Autumn Twilight was released in November 1984, and I would like to join in on the fortieth anniversary celebrations by helping the festivities go out with a bang. So if you have been positively impacted by this wonderful Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting, be it through the novels, games, or imagery, I would like to invite you to share your experience with the Dragonlance community as well. I have created a landing page on my website dlsaga.com/40th-anniversary which will facilitate this celebration! Here you will find ways to submit your own contributions and explore others’. I truly hope we can make this an engaging way of sharing our love of this wonderful IP. Let’s go over the various mediums.
Dragonlance has never been big in the video medium, save for the fans who create videos celebrating the lore or novels, and even share actual plays of their games. If you would like to submit a video of your own making that celebrates Dragonlance’s 40th anniversary, you could host it on your channel and send me the link. I will create a post on my site embedding the video which shares your information and links back to the original. Alternatively you could share the video file with me and I could host it on your behalf.
The art of dragonlance is a masterclass of fantasy painting and illustration. If you are not up to the Elmore skill level, that’s okay, share your personal best artistic works and I will make a post including them as a stand alone piece or in a gallery depending on how many you’d like to submit. I will share your submitted information linking to your social profiles if you wish to include them as well.
And finally, it’s the novels of Dragonlance, specifically the Chronicles and Legends, that have inspired so many of us. So if you would like to submit your own original short stories, poetry, personal insights, thoughts or experiences, even modules or adventure seeds, I will create a post for each. This is your chance to contribute to a real celebration of one of our favorite fantasy settings! All of this content will be in one centralized location viewable by all for years to come!
With each submission, you may include links to your other projects and social profiles so others may connect with you. But because I do not have any social media presence, I am relying on you all to share this video and the project to your social media circles. Let’s get as much collaboration together and see what wonderful contributions we can include!
